From Borneo to the World – The Legacy of Kratom Marind
Kratom Marind was founded by the late Mr. Rudyzar Zaidar Mochtar, a visionary entrepreneur with over 35 years of export experience. Born in Pontianak, West Borneo, he began his journey in the 1990s, initially exporting Gaharu Woods to the Middle East. By 2005, he expanded to rattan furniture, supplying Europe, China, and the USA.
In 2014, his brothers, Mr. Zulfydar and Mr. Edy Zaidar Mochtar (now Indonesian Parliament members), joined him. Together, they started exporting Kratom to the USA, which soon became their flagship product.
Mr. Rudyzar was also a passionate advocate for Kratom, serving as Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Kratom Association and Deputy Chairman of the West Borneo Chambers of Commerce. He believed Kratom could bring prosperity to West Borneo while promoting global wellness.
